Not the best racing I have ever seen for a Thursday, but at least we have a few cards to pick through looking for potential. One that catches the eye to me has to be the Willie Mullins trained Got Glory who returns to action for the maestro in the 2.40pm at Naas this afternoon. Bought privately for an unknown sum after winning her only start on the Flat at Clairefontaine over a mile and a half in July 2021 for Francois Monfort with Maxime Guyon in the saddle, she was off the track for close to two years before reappearing at Fairyhouse in the Grade One Honeysuckle Mares Novice Hurdle when sent off a 50/1 chance before pulling up after weakening over the two and a half miles.
Off for another year since, her sights are lowered considerably here with a maiden hurdle over two miles, but the fact that she keeps her box in a yard where owners are queuing up to take her place, suggests they still feel she has some ability and if we get lucky, she may well show it this afternoon.
