It looks like the penny has well and truly dropped for Alan King’s Granny Hawkins who is looking for her hat-trick in the 3.08pm at Stratford following a couple of Class Five wins at Hereford.
She is up in class and racing off 6lb higher thanks to the handicapper, but she likes to race off the pace and come with a late challenge so there is reason to believe she could still be one step ahead of her current mark.
