The six-year-old gelding win two races in December, a Class Three over the mile at Newcastle and a Class Two over course and distance, and although third on his one start since at Lingfield, he was forced to make the running that day which clearly saw him run a fraction below his best.
Down in class off the same mark today, Surprise Exhibit may well put the pace to the race from the start, giving the selection something to aim at, and another win is very much on the cards this evening.
