Lion Rose Sivola was sold for £100,000 after winning his point-to-point at Ballinaboola in Ireland and was given wind surgery last September before heading over hurdles for the first time at Chepstow in November.
He ran well without winning when a two and a half length second to Sea The Day when running out of steam close home, but with that run under his belt and the knowledge that he can now breathe properly, I expect him to go one better now unless there is a major improver in this field.
