The Phillip Makin trained Priopos went though a bit of a rough patch after finishing third in a better race at Ascot in May, but he bounced back to form here last month with a three and a half length victory over course and distance when dropped into a lowly class six.
Back up a grade here, he still looks reasonably weighted despite an added 7lb from the handicapper, and connections seem keen to strike while he remains at the top of his game.
