Paddy Has The Power

Although Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore are a touch less enthusiastic than me, I am expecting Derryhassen Paddy to make it close to the top over fences and I will not fall over in shock if he turns out over three miles at the Cheltenham Festival next March with a solid chance.

His form over hurdles reads well with wins at Uttoxeter and Windsor before acceptable third in the Albert Bartlett in March, and as he is a proper stamp of a horse, fences may well see him move on to even greater heights.

He looks to have been found a winnable opportunity for his debut over fences here, with the two and a half miles my only question mark as I suspect three miles or even further will see him at his peak, but he did win his bumper here over two miles and hopefully will not find this too much of an inconvenience.
