Trained down the road in Newmarket by Jack Morland, the three-year-old Advertise gelding ran away with a lowly class six handicap on the all-weather at Newcastle last month when winning by over four lengths after leading at the two furlong pole, and he races here carrying a 6lb penalty with connections assuming he will go up more than that when reassessed.
This will be the fastest going he has encountered so far which is a concern, but his sire won on good to firm in the July Stakes as a juvenile so there is hope it won’t be too much of a problem.
