Trump Could Hold All The Cards

Anyone who thinks Best Trump is as bad as he looked when a bitterly disappointing 62 length 11th on his hurdling bow at Exeter where he was sent off a well-backed 3/1 chance is suggesting J P McManus buys bad horses and that is simply not the case.

Trained by  the O’Neill team, he won his point-to-point at Knockanard by over seven lengths before being bought privately, and with the runner-up winning a bumper since and the other three all placing, there is at least a little depth to the form.

It may be he had an off day, or perhaps he needed the race after close to a year off, and I expect the money to be down again ahead of the 3.15pm at Wincanton with a place the minimum I am hoping for.
