Lucy Wadham has an interesting runner in the 3.30pm at Market Rasen when the lightly raced Abbey Law makes her handicap debut.
Unsuccessful on the Flat for Amy Murphy, she got off the mark over hurdles at the second attempt when winning by over three lengths at Fakenham, and can be forgiven her one start since when a weakening fourth over two miles five at Fontwell.
An opening mark of 91 seems fair enough when you consider the horse she beat at Fakenham has won since and is now rated 101, and although not seen in nine months or so, if she is ready to run she could potentially be thrown in dropping back to two miles.
