As I write I have no idea what price we will get for Cindy Lou Who ahead of the 5.25pm at Newbury but she looks the proverbial good thing – famous last words.

I don’t remember ever seeing a horse officially well in by 15lbs at the weights, but that is exactly what we have here. She has alreadt won four times on the Falkt for Tony Carroll, but almost sprang a massive shock last time out when taking on Listed company at Bath where she was beaten a short-head at level weights by Azure Angel, officially rated 9lb her superior.

Put up from a mark of 83 to a new rating of 98, she gets to race here off her old mark for the last time, and we can be pretty confident connections will have pulled out all the stops to win this before she is forced into better and harder to win contests.
