It’s pretty poor racing this Tuesday even by recent standards and I suggest we reducee our bets accordingly – poor horses cannot be guaranteed to run to form I’m afraid.
Rant over and my first suggestion for today is Blazes Boylan in the five furlong handicap at 6.30pm.
Trained by Robert Cowell, he showed signs of a return to his best when a length third to Ziggy’s Missile last time out over course and distance and meets that rival on 4lb better terms this evening.
His record at the track reads 2, 10, 1, 3, so he clearly runs well here (most times!), and with only the eight career starts there may be improvement to come.
