Infamous biker bar on London’s North Circular, The Ace Cafe, was taken over Sunday night by super cars and super sexy girls for the Lambo Club Meet sponsored by Men’s Stuff Magazine, Daily Sport and the UK Glamour Awards among others. Girls flocked from all corners to model with the amazing array of cars and bikes; supercar fans and spotters walked around, mouths gaping, eyes on stalks. The meet, which was arranged by Chig Patel (of 5how fame) and RUK Technology was certainly an impressive success with the forecourt being covered in a rainbow display of Italy’s motoring excellence, Ferruccio Lamborghini would have been impressed. Along with the Lambo contingency, there was the odd other marquee dotted around from Ferrari and Rolls Royce to a luminous gold Bentley.
There was a festival atmosphere as the tunes blared from the DJ Land Rover and the girls adorned with Daily Sports caps meandered around the crowd and lounged by the cars. Spearmint Rhino promo girl and Daily Sport ringgirl Christiana Bourne was observed sprawled across a rather impressively throbbing bike whilst Glamour model Lou Lou Petite got up close and personal with DAILY SPORT columnist Tracy Kiss.
We certainly drew a crowd and the looks of shock were evident amid the supercar followers when Miss Tracy Kiss arrived and began changing clothes and having her makeup done by MUA Romessa Shekh in the interior of the cafe. Miss Kiss, you may know, is a model, blogger and member of the Daily Sports team as well as being the presenter for the UK Glamour Awards ceremony next month. Dressed merely in a strapless bra and g-string to start with, Tracy posed with the only Lambo in the world adorned in the Cadbury wrapper style purple colour, owned by Tony Borgia.
The next notable individual to arrive was the long awaited Danny Lambo, well what’s a Lambo meet without Mr Lambo himself? Danny arrived in his ear splittingly loud purple Diablo, complete with security and looked in his element posing with the girls. With Danny also having a Daily Sports column and our Agony Aunt Kaz B doing her sultry best with Lou Lou and Tracy, it really was a ‘family’ night out, well the Daily Sports family that is.
Walking around the forecourt and cafe you could do a little people spotting as among the hoi polloi were some celebrated faces and prominent individuals, including actor Sen Monro, Producer Don Clovis and Eureka Club MD Michael Davies to name but a few.
The UK Glamour Awards takes place next month and is set to be the biggest awards ceremony of its type, in the country. There are 8 categories for the girls to choose from and followers being able to vote for the favourite via social media. Through the votes the girls will be whittled down to the best in their categories and the final decision will be made by the illustrious judging panel on the night, the panel also being a very Daily Sports family affair with owner Grant Miller and our own Danny and Kaz sitting on the panel.
Last night as the darkness drew in, the revellers enjoyed a tipple or two, the music blared from the speakers and the girls could start to wind down. As they relaxed inside I caught up with Awards participant Cordia Melancelli, who you may remember from my interview with her a few weeks ago. She told me how excited she is about the upcoming ceremony and was quoted as saying “Get me to the Glamour Awards now, I can not wait.” …well neither can we Cordia, neither can we.
