A new craze is set to sweep across the nation’s pubs with the launch of BigD’s finger football competition in support of the Balls to Cancer charity.
Punters can win themselves UK football tickets and a kilo of BigD nuts by showing off their finger footy skills and sharing their videos with BigD through Twitter or Facebook.
To get the nation in the finger football spirit, BigD has released its own ultimate finger football video with one trickster showcasing some tasty finger football skills
Pubs and fans can easily enter their own videos by tweeting them to @bigdpeanuts with the hashtag #bigdfingerfooty, or by uploading them to Big D Facebook page before the 15 September 2012.
Pub bosses could also win a year’s supply of BigD nuts to stick behind the bar if one of their regulars uploads a video and mentions the name of the pub at the same time.
BigD babe Rosie Jones, recently voted 4th sexiest woman in the world, has thrown down the gauntlet to the nation and is challenging them to get their videos in.
She said: “Finger footy is all about pub fun and we’ve made it easy for people to keep one hand for drinking and use the other hand to have a go at our competition.
“There are top footy tickets to be won and free nuts for the winner and their local pub so now its time to see what the nation is made of. Plus it’s all for a good cause as BigD will be making a cash donation to Balls to Cancer at the end of the competition.”
Punters can use any props they like to bring their finger football skills to life; it could be a series of finger step overs, a long range finger flick into a pint glass or even a clever goal celebration!
The top three clips submitted before 15 September 2012 will be chosen to go through to the final stage of the competition where the general public will vote on their favourite Facebook videos and for every ‘like,’ BigD will make a 10 pence donation* to its charity of the year, Balls to Cancer.
