Punter gives BetVictor food for thought after landing tasty £14k

One lucky BetVictor punter from the West Country woke up this morning £14,735.30 better off having placed a £1 yankee (cost £11) on four horses with a food theme yesterday.

The horses were; The Lemonpie won 10/1 took 12s, Merinque Pie 11/1 (took 12s), Croquembouche 5s (took 12s) and Tinzapeas 9/2 took 10/3.

Spokesperson Charlie McCann; “ I don’t think anyone in the office was aware that Croquembouche was a traditional French dessert originally, and Tinzapeas went under the radar as well until we suddenly woke up to find this was a bet not to be found in the form book but possibly a cook book. Good luck to the punter; he certainly dined out on us last night that’s for sure.”
