Glamour model and entrant in the UK Glamour Awards, Cordia Melancelli, talks to Men Stuff’s Lena Hedges about Audi TT’s and her love for speed.
Cordia, who currently drives a 1l Corsa would really like a sparkling Audi TT with tinted windows, in black with metallic silver sparkles…well you can’t beat a bit of sparkle. However, if money were no object, she wouldn’t go down the supercar route, she would opt for a classically British Rolls Royce, her model of choice though? The beast that is the Ghost Onyx. The Onyx concept cars are designed to embrace Design, Luxury, Style and Manufacturing, these aspects are intended to collide to challenge and question conformity.
At the recent UK Glamour Awards press launch, Cordia had the distinct pleasure of arriving in Danny Lambo’s infamous 90K orange Lamborghini Murcielago. I asked her what she thought of supercars and how it felt to arrive at Hyde, Kensington in Danny’s car. She told me that they are “lush, especially to sit in. It was amazing, I’ve never been in one before and when he picked me up and we arrived it felt like something out of a movie. It was really comfortable and yeah he’s a really good driver and a total gentleman, we talked about the car and talked about what we do for work,” so no juicy gossip there then. Of course, unless you are used to exiting supercars, they can cause a problem for ladies in high heels and LBDs. Cordia said the low body did cause some problems, “I tried to get out so elegantly and it didn’t work! Getting in I just kind of fell in, but getting out especially in them heels (was hard)!”. The Lambos signature vertical doors make a great style statement but are they harder to use? “Yes! At least if it was a normal door I (would have) had something to lean on.”
So would a man’s car make a difference to Cordia? Would a nice car make a man more attractive? “I would like to say no but .. hehe, I do love my Audi’s.” So it’s the Audis that do it for her, oh that and Lamborghinis of course, “I am definitely into supercars! I’d love a purple Lamborghini Gallardo.”
So would the young model consider herself a petrol head? “I would say I’m more of a speed demon! I love anything fast.” 
So come on boys, show off your fast cars and you may just pique Cordia’s interest.
