This week Men’s Stuff Magazine’s reporter Lena Hedges talks horsepower and sexy cars with Daily Sport sexpot and car lover Barbie McSween.
Striking model Barbie, who with her pouty lips and lusciously long hair has modelled herself after her namesake doll, has a penchant for classic curves and sexy lines with her favourite cars being some of the best that British motoring has to offer.
Barbies favourite car of all time is the trademark of the well to do, the very British, Range Rover, “I love Range Rovers, I’m not too keen on the sport, I prefer the older ones….” As her namesake would suggest she would especially like a pink one, lowered to the ground, with pink leather interior and the number plate ‘Barbie 1’. Another well known pink loving glamour model, Katie Price (otherwise known as Jordan), has a pink Range Rover herself though Barbie states that she doesn’t like it for that reason.
Barbie recently attended the press launch of the UK Glamour Awards at Kensington’s Hyde and was enthralled by the Lamborghinis on show there, she told me that she absolutely loved them, going on to say that they were “lovely cars” and that she wouldn’t mind driving off in one. Her Lambo would have to be red though like the one owned by Chig Patel which attended the press launch.
She doesn’t currently have a car of her own but would like to get an Audi TT, she told me, “they are quite old cars but still look good, they are quite low and small but deceiving as they are quite big inside. I’d love a black one with tinted windows and 18-inch alloys. They are cute to drive too as they are low to the ground so you feel safer.”
It’s not important to Barbie if a guy has a nice car or not and states, “it doesn’t matter what he drives, what brand his watch is, it’s what’s inside, for me it could be a Robin Reliant. If he’s got a lovely personality he could be driving a three wheeler.” But before you all think you could be in a with a chance by flashing your nice personality, she also went on to say that quintessentially British Bentleys are the most attractive cars a man could drive as they emote a certain classiness, the type of high end gentleman who would open the door for a lady, “if a guy was driving a Bentley down the street you would think he was a classy high-end gentleman, you’re not going to find a 25-year-old lad driving a Bentley, that’s something I would definitely be attracted to.” Barbie also likes other classic, sophisticated, British marques such as Jaguar and Rolls Royce.
In Barbies mind the sexiest car of all though is the Italian Lamborghini, “Lamborghini spells out sexy, I’ve never been in one but I’d love to if there are any Lambo drivers out there…”
Having previously modelled with cars she has had her fair share of being up close and personal with some very high end makes including Bentley and Porsche. She used to work at the NEC exhibitions and would love to get back into it, “I love modelling and I love cars, it’s all about looking sexy posing with the cars.”
So not just a pretty face, our Barbie is also a petrol head and loves her cars. I will leave her with the last line “I love cars, there are loads of cars I love, I need a car if anyone has one going?”
