In the 3.10 at Redcar today, Ingenuity looks on a weighted to go well and worth a punt at 10/1 now dropped back in trip.
The Jedd O’Keefe trained three year-old had some smart form as a jevunile, beating the now 108-rated Hey Jonesy by a nose at Carlisle in a race whicb has thrown-up winners before rounding off the campaign with a solid second of 14 to Hikmaa (now rated 100) at Newcastle.
He also ran well on seaonal reapperance when a keeping on third over 6f at Pontefract off an official rating of 87 and has been far from disgraced in two starts following a break over 7 1/2f at Beverley when racing close-up until wekaneing late on.
Ingenuinty looks sure to appreciate the drop back to the 7f of this and should noe be spot on to do himself justice.
He ha salso been dropped a further 3lb to 80 and that should enable him to be very competitive in this – especially on his two-year-old form.
Sebastion Woods also take off a handy 3lb with his claim and Ingenuity is the least exposed in the field and open to further progression.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Ingenuity (10/1 BetVictor, Betfair, Boylesports, Paddy Power – BOG)
