Buzz Law drops into 0-60 company for he first time in the 2.05 at Musselburgh today and looks worth siding with at 10/1 to take advantage and score and overdue success.
Karl Burke’s gelding has not scored since landing back-to-back successes in April 2011, but the last of those wins came off a mark of 69.
The six-year-old went on to be placed off marks in the mids 70s, and has clearlly not been the easiest to train since as he has been off the track for serveral long periods.
He very much caught the eye on whena staying on fourth of 12 to Speedu Mouse at Newmarket in a class 5 handicap in August 2012 off a mark of 69, and now gets into this class 6 affair off a career-low of 60.
That gives him major claims at the weights on the pick of his form if bouncing back to anything like his best, and the fact that connections have perservered with him suggests all is not lost.
The fast ground today will cdertainly be in his favour, and with Phil Makin in the saddle he looks decent each-way value in what looks a very weak contest.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Buzz Law (10/1 bet365, Betfred, Stan James – BOG)
