10/1 Stay In My Heart worth a flutter at Fontwell

Stay In My Heart is pontentially well-treated on the pick of her Irish form in the 3.40 at Fontwell today and makes plenty of appeal at 10/1.

The five-year-old is yet to win under rules, but ran some good races in Ireland when trained by Charlie Swan.

They included a fourth to Our Conor in a maiden hurdle at Navan, and a solid third of 22 to Lady Of Glencoe at Punchestown.

She also ran well last year to chase home Derrylea Girl at Tramore and to finish a close up third to Bahati Boy at Downpatrick.

Now in the care of Laura Mongan, Stay In My Heart gets into this class 5 contest off a career-low mark of 93 having started life oiff in handicaps off 104.

That gives her a big shout at the weights, and although she is yet to fire since joining Mongan, her latest run suggsted that she may be on the way back.

That came over course and distance last month, where after finding herself soon behind and last Stay In My Heart stayed on well from two out to finish a never nearer 7 1/2 lengths sixth of 15 to The Kings Assassin.

If she can build on that then she would have a big chance in this, and the underfoot conditions should be ideal.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Stay In My Heart (10/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
