12/1 Red Tornado weighted to go well at Newton Abbot

Red Tornado has become dangerously well-treated and makes plenty of each-way appeal at 12/1 in the 3.20 at Newton Abbot today.

Dan Skelton’s charge enjoyed a terrific 2016 when winning five times, with the last of those successes coming in the valauble Summer Handicap Hurdle at Market Rasen off a mark of 129.

He has failed to get his head in front since but did run well in the 2017 running of the same contest to John Constable off 130 and was also placed off 137 last year.

Red Tornado is now able to race off 125 and that is a career-low.

It gives him major claims on the pick of his form and he has shaped as if needing both his starts this year following a break.

Red Tornado should now be spot on to do himself justice for a yard going great guns at present and other pluses are that the ground is ideal and he has a 57% strke rate under Harry Skelton.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Red Tornado (12/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
