13/2 Langley Vale can retain Lingfield crown

Langley Vale looks to have leading claims at 13/2  of landing the 4.15 at Lingfield for the second year running.

Roger Ingram’s gelding won this contest 12 months ago off a mark of 65, where he tracked the leaders before taking up the running entering the last and running on strongly to beat Peace Seeker by 1/2 a length.

He went on to win on the turf at Brighton off 71, where he showed a game attitude to beat Maria Montez by 1/2 a length off 71.

The five-year-old now gets into this off just 3lb higher (74) and showed that he can be competitive off it when an excellent length third of 9 to the thriving Multitask over course and distance when last seen in action.

That was his second run back after 194 days on the sidelines, and he should now be spot on to do himself justice.

He looks to have been primed to make a bold bid to defend his crown, and with seb Sanders – who has ridden him to his last two successes – in the saddle once again everything looks in place for a huge run.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Langley Vale (13/2 bet365, Hills, Sky Bet – BOG)
