Ghinia returned to form when runner-up last time out and makes plenty of appeal at 15/2 in the 4.30 at Windsor today now eased in grade.
Pam Sly’s filly showed a good attitude to land a 1m class 4 handicap at Leicester back in July by a neck off a mark of 75, but then failed to sparkle in her next two starts.
However she left efforts well behind when runner-up to Mitchum Swagger in a class 3 congtest at Haydock last month, going down by by just 1 1/2 lengths off a mark of 77.
The four-year-old onky got headed in the last 75 yards, and the winner is a well regarded sort who had got in very lightly on handicap debut.
In the circumstances it was a cracking effort, and Ghinia is able to race in this lower grade class 4 affair off just 1lb higher.
It gives her a great chnace at the weights if building on her latest effort, especially with Rob Horny in the saddle taking another 5lb off with his claim.
The ground will also hold no fears, and everything points to a big run.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Ghinia (15/2 BetVictor, Willima Hill – BOG)
