All The Winds is back down to his last winning mark and makes plenty of each-way appeal at 16/1 in the finale at Wolverhampton this evening (6.50).
Shaun Lycett’s gelding has not been at his best in five runs on the level this year, but they have come in better class contests than this.
The handicapper has now cut him a bit of slack, and he gets into this contest off 80 – the same as when he was last successful at Kempton a year ago.
That gives him every chance at the weights and it would be no surprise to see him put in a much improved showing after being given a break to freshen him up.
The seven-year-old has run well off a lay-off in the past, and with Leonna Mayor taking another 5lb off his back everything looks in place for a big run.
The 25/1 on offer form him first thing this morning was huge, and although that has now disappeared you can still get 16/1 in a place and that still represents cracking value in my eyes.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way All The Winds (16/1 Boylesports – BOG)
