Indian Wish has been given massive chance by the handicapper to finally get her head in front in the 5.20 at Yarmouth and looks terrific each-way value at 33/1.
Tom McCarthy’s filly was far from disgraced when finishing fifth of 14 to Tegan Lee on her most recent start at Windsor where she led for much of the 1m 2f journey before weakening out of contention two from home to be beaten just under 8 lengths.
She drops back to a mile today, and has form over the distance which would give her a big shout off a career low mark of 46.
One of those runs came over today’s course and distance last Ocrober where she was beaten just 1/2 a length into third by Slumbering Sioux off a mark of 56.
She had John Dunlop’s Anton Dolin nearly two lengths behind her in fourth and that one has gone on to land a hat-trick this season and is now rated in the 80s.
The selection also put in a couple of other solid efforts last year when chasing home Urban Kode at Wolverhampton off a mark of 57 and finishing runner-up to Blue Cossack at Kempton off 60.
Given that she now massively lower in the weights, she must have a chance in this shocking looking contest if running up to anywhere near the form she showed in those three runs last season.
At 33/1 she certainly looks way overpriced and is definitely worth an each-way interest.
