4/1 I Know The Code the standout punt at Towcester

I Know The Code ran really well when runner-up last time out and rates a solid bet at 4/1 to go one better and open his account over fences in the 3.10 at Towcester today.

Lynn Siddall’s gelding won in the mud over hurdles at Uttoxeter back in February 2013 off a mark of 95 and shaped with plenty of promise on chasing debut at this venue back in February when staying on to finish a 20 length third to the progressive Nail’m off 89.

He then disappointed when pulled up at the track 18 days later, before bouncing back and running a solid race to finish a three length third of 10 to Baileys Concert on on soft ground at Hexham over 2m 5f back in March.

The nine-year-old then ran a blinder on seasonal reappearance over course and distance last month when runner-up to Carhue Princess off a mark of 80.

I Know The Code was given a patient ride, and after getting outpaced three from home kept on well to be beaten four lengtsh without ever quite looking like getting to the winner.

It was a highly promising effort, and I Know The Code looks sure to come on for the run.

He is able to run in this off just 1lb higher, and his current mark of 81 looks very exploitable judged on his hurdles form and unexposed profile over fences after just four starts over the larger obstacles..

Daily Sport recommended bet; 3pts win I Know The Code (4/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
