Moth worth a bet at Brighton

Hawk Moth has slipped back dow to a handy mark and makes plenty of appeal at 4/1 in the 5.00 at Brighton today.

John Spearing’s charge a four-time course and distance winner and in the last of those succcesses back in May comfortably beat Soaring Spirits by 2 1/4 lengths off a mark of 58.

The runner-up has since come outand landed a hat-trick to give the form a solid look and Hawk Moth is now able to race off just 1lb higher.

It gives the veteran major claims at the weights at a track which clearly brings out the best in him, especially if taking into account the 5lb claim of Joshua Bryan

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Hawk Moth (4/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
