9/1 Heezararity ready to deliver at Leicester

Heezararity narrowly failed to land a 33/1 punt for us at the weekend, and has to be of serious interest at 9/1 in the 4.50 at Leicester.

Stuart Kittow’s charge looked the likely winner of a decent 7f contest at Newbury on Saturday until getting collared close home and being beaten a length into third by Ellie In The Pink.

That was his first run for 75 days, and it’s interesting that connections have turned him out quickly so that he can run off the same mark of 66.

I think that he is certainly capable of winning from that rating having shown distinct promise in several runs prior to his placing without being knocked about.

The gelding caught the eye on his debut in a Newbury maiden when staying on from well off the pace under a tender ride to finish a never nearer 7th of 15 to Mantoba.

He then ran a similar race when returned to the Berkshire track when 7th of 17 to Quadrant in a contest that has thrown up plenty of subsequent winners.

The son of Librettist then went into my notebook as one to keep an eye on went sent handicapping when again putting in good late work to finish 6th of 18 to Emilio Largo in a 7f maiden at Salisbury.

I am convinced he will win sooner rather than later, and the booking of Shane Kelly to ride is another positive.

Kelly has only partnered three horses for the stable in the last 12 months – winning on one and being placed on another for a 33.33% strike rate.

Everything looks in place for a huge run, and providing Heezararity can cope with the cut in the ground he must go close.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Heezararity (9/1 Betfred – BOG, totesport)
