Mary Le Bow makes plenty of appeal at 9/1 in the 5.45 at Wolverhampton today now dropped back in grade.
Victor Dartnall’s mare was last successful at the track back in November when coming from off the pace to score readily by 1 1/2 lengths off a mark of 59 in a class 6 contest.
She backed that up with a solid 1 3/4 length third in a class 5 contest at this venue to the in-form Pactolus off a reviseed rating of 63, and was also far from disgraced when fourth here next time up off the same rating in another class 5 affair.
Although not at her best last time out at Lingfield, the handicapper has dropped her 1lb to 62 and she now retruns to class 6 company for the first time since last victorious.
That makes Mary Le Bow look nicely treated on the pick of her form at a venue which clearly suits, especially with Callum Shepherd in the saddle taking another 5lb off with his claim.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Mary Le Bow (9/1 bet365, BetVictor, William Hill – BOG)
