Agent Boru looks decent value at 16/1 in the 3.05 at Leopardstown today.

Thomas Gibney’s six-year-old is yet to get his head in front in seven starts over hirdles but has posted some solid efforts in defeat.

They include when second of 25 to the now 129-rated rated Tudor City in a maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse.

He also ran really well last time out when a keeping on 3 1/2 length fifth of 20 to David’s Charm in a hot handicap at the same venue.

The sixth home in that contest, Ben Dundee, ran a blinder at this meeting here on Tuesday when a 3 length runner-up to Trainwreck in a competive 13-runner affair.

I think the form of the aforementioned races reads well in the context of this contest and suggests a mark of 123 should not be beyond Agent Boru.

At the odds on offer he looks overpriced judged  on his last run and well worth an each-way wager.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Agent Boru (16/1 bet365 – BOG)
