Alphabetical Order weighted to go well

Alphabetical Order is back down to a handy mark and looks worth an each-way punt at 12/1 in the 5.15 at Beverley today.

David O’Meara’s gelding was in fine form last season when rattling-up a hat-trick, with the last of those successes coming over course and distance where he dug deep to land a class 4 contest by a neck off 76.

He got put up to 83 for that victory and has failed to trouble the judge in five subsequent outings, uncluding four this season where he has been well beaten.

However, that has resulted in the assessor cutting him some slack and Alphabetcial Order is now able to race off a reduced rating of 75 – 1lb lower than when lst successful.

It gives him every chance at the weights in this class 5 affair and he has a 29% strike rate in the grade having won twice and been placed once fron seven starts.

His latest effort when a krrping on sixth after being slowly away at Doncaster is a class 4 was also a bit of s tep back in the right direction.

If he can build on that he looks weighted to go well at a tack where he is 1-1.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Alphabetical Order (12/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
