Any Second Now ticks plenty of boxes at Leopardstown​

Any Second Now looks nicely treated on the pick of his form and worth a wager at 7/1 in the 4.10 at Leopardstown today ​

This Ted Walsh trained seven-year-old is yet to get his head in front in eight starts over fences but has posted some solid efforts in defeat.​

They include when beaten 6 lengths into second by the now 161-rated Monalee at Punchestown and a 4 1/2 length third to Invitation Only, who is now rated 152, in a seven runner affair at Navan.​

Any second Now also ran well two starts back when a neck runner-up to Mortal at Fairyhouse and backed that up with a solid 9 3/4 length fifth of 27 to Auvergnat over 3m at this venue at Christmas.​

The drop back to 2m 5f should play to his strengths and off a rating of 142 there are undoubtedly races of this nature to be won with Any Second Now judged on the pick of his form.​

So with Mark Walsh, who has won once and been placed four times on him from 10 starts and rode a double here yesterday, once again in the saddle everything looks in place for a big run.​
