Apache weighted to get back on Glory trail at Lingfield

Apache Glory is back down to her last winning mark and makes plenty of appeal at 8/1 in the 2.55 at Lingfield today.

Mark Loughnane’s mare is a three-time course and distnace winner, with the last of those successes coning back in February where she scored by a neck off a mark of 65.

She went on to finish a fine head second, again over CD, off 69 and was also far from disgraced when a 1/2 length third at Wolverhampton off 71 in a race not run to suit.

She is now able to rave off 65 agaijn, and showed that her time was near last time out when staying on strongly from a hopeless position to finish a 1 1/2 lenth third of 14 to Putaringonit over course and distance.

The seven-year-old has also bagged a  decent draw in stall 6, and Jimmy Quinn looks the ideal jockey to deliver her with her customary late run.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Apache Glory (8/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
