Arsenal look ace at 3/1 for Anfield upset

Arsenal travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool today (1.30pn KO, Live on Sky Sports 1) and look tremendous value at 3/1 with Boylesports and Paddy Power  to come away with all three points

The Gunners have yet to score in two 0-0 draws this season, but the stats suggest that they should not be underestimated in this and are overpriced at the odds on offer.

Liverpool have won just one of their last 10 Premier League games against Arsenal (W1 D6 L3), and Arsene Wenger’s side haven’t lost in this fixture for the last five seasons.

They have twice emerged victorious by a 2-1 scoreline – including in their latest encounter back in March – and that outcome can be backed at a 12/1 with BetVictor and makes plenty of appeal.

Another interesting stat is that there have only been two occasions in the last 11 seasons (2001/02 and 2005/06) that either side failed to find the net in this fixture at Anfield, and that makes the 8/11 generally  on offer about both scoring in this look a cracking bet.

Olivier Giroud came closest to netting for Arsenal at Stoke last weekend it’s surely only a matter of time before the classy French striker breaks his duck for the club.

He looks worth a punt at 8/1 with Paddy Power to net the opener.
