This Bernard Llewellyn trained nine-year-old has won once and been placed twice in sevenstarts over course and distance.

His last success on the level came at Chester back in September 2017 where he landed a class 3 on heavy ground off a mark of 81.

Arty Campbell has ince landed a handicap hurdle at Hereford back in October and comes into this having posted an improved effort last time out when a length runner-up in a class 4 at Ffos Las off 67.

He is able to race in this lower grade class 5 affair off the same mark – 14lb lower than when last victorious – and that gives the veteran a big shout at the weights on the pick of his form.
