Admiral’s Secret weighted to open account

Admiral’s Secret caught the eye last time out and looks worth a wager in the 1.35 at Exeter today.

Victor Dartnall’s six-year-old kept on nicely to finish an 11 length fifth of 11 to Eyesopnwideawake at Kempton after making a made mistake two from home.

He was not knocked about once it was cklear he would not be winning on just his second start over fences.

The assessor has since dropped him 2lb to a mark of 113 and that looks exploitable judged on his hurdles form which including a solid 11 length third to the now 147-rated Air Horse One at this venue.

Admiral’s secret also remains lightkly raced and open to further improvement and the booking of Denis O’Regan to do the steering is another positive.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Admiral’s Secret (7/2 generally available – use BOG firms)
