The North London derby today features a role reversal. In the past Spurs have been stumbling from crisis to crisis while Arsenal are on a roll but not this year.
Arsenal, through a combination of summer departures and autumnal injuries haven’t made their normal start to the season. Spurs also fell out of the traps with defeats against United and City but since then they have kicked into gear. They are unbeaten in their last six and have won three on the spin beating Liverpool, Wolves and Wigan.
Arsenal for all their travails have won three on the trot and their only blemish in six games against Blackburn at Ewood. That game highlighted the defensive frailties when they went down 4-3 and the injury list is getting any better. Vermaelen. Squillaci, Wilshire and Diaby won’t play and there are doubts about Gervinho, Walcott, Djourou and Benayoun.
Daily Sport says – Spurs look a fair bet at 6/5 with Paddy Power and draw/Spurs look the call at 4/1 on the half-time/full-time market.
