Beat Route reserves his best for Kempton and at 7/1 looks to hold solid claims of landing a third success at the track in the 4.15.

Michael Attwater’s gelding was last successful over course and distance back in November when always travelling well and staying on strongly to account for Brigadoon by 1/2 a length off a mark of 64.

He went on to finish a fine second to Tornado Force at Lingfield off 69, and ran really well on his comeback run after 121 days on the sidelines when 7th of 15 to Timocracy on the turf at Windsor.

The five-year-old looked badly in need of the run that day and after travelling well in midfield weakened badly a furlong from home.

However he was not knocked about once it was clear he would not be winning, and the run should have blown away the cobwebs and put him spot on for this.

The return to his favoured polytrack surface is a major plus, and off a mark of 70 he is certainly well enough treated to take all the beating.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Beat Route (7/1 Betfred, Hills – BOG)
