Betting Preview: Gary Buckland v Stephen Foster Jnr

Gary Buckland makes the third defence of his British super featherweight title against Steven Foster live on Primetime tonight as part of the bumper Ricky Hatton Card.

Buckland, (pictured) whose career has kind of stalled since flattening Gary Sykes in a round in prizefighter, will be looking for a show stealing performance to put  himself in the picture for bigger and better things.

Foster looked like a spent fighter after the Ermano Fegatilli fight where he was dropped five times due a vicious body assault and immediately announced his retirement.

I thought that would be last we see of him in a ring, but it was not to be.

He has quietly comeback against 2 low grade opponents and it remains to be seen if he can reach the heights of his 3 round destruction of the highly respected Levan Kirakosyan.

At this weight division Buckland is one hard man. He is double strong and plows through his opponents with gradual pressure and I expect him to beat Foster quite comfortably by wearing him down with a late stoppage.

Daily Sport recommended bet:

5pts Buckland to win by KO-TKO or DQ – 3/1 generally available

Ricky Hatton vs. Vyacheslav Senchenko will be shown live on Primetime, Channel 498 on Sky and Virgin-On-Demand, on Saturday 24th November for only £14.95. To order c go online to PRIMETIME
