Bialco the best bet at Kelso

Having slipped in the weights Bialco looks worth a wager at 7/1 in the 5.05 at Kelso today. This gelding had some decent form to his name when trained in France and ran well on his second start for trainer Lucinda Russell when fifth of 11 to Tommy Rapper in a class 2 contest at Haydock off a mark of 128. He totally outran his odds of 66/1, makimg progress from the rear three form home before taking up the running at the neext. Bialco then only got headed after the last but stuck on well to go down by just 4lengths. That race has thrown-up plenty of subsequent winners and Biaclo went on to finish runer-up in his next three starts when sent off well-backe don each occasion. Although his return to action at Newcastle last month when pulled-up was underwhelming the stable is now in better form and he has been eased a further 2lb in the weights. Biaclo is now able to race in this class 3 affair off a career-low rating of 123 and that gives him major cliams at the weights judged on his Haydock run which came in much better company.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Bialco (7/1 general- use BOG firms)
