We decided to take BKB 37 away from our O2 Arena base – and it proved to be a good idea!
Every one of the 1,700 tickets for the show in Wolverhampton was snapped up a few weeks ago – and the show isn’t until Saturday, March 30!
That proved to us what we were already sure of. That there is a huge appetite for our shows across the country.
That has led to us announcing a show in Wales on August 17.
We hope to announce the venue in the next week or so.
As anyone who’s followed BKB™ will know, Wales is a hotbed for our sport.
The retired Sean George is rightly in our Hall of Fame, Barrie Jones is top of the current pound-for-pound lists and then there’s Dan Lerwell, Dan Chapman, Jonny Jones and more.
The show on August 17 is titled ‘Emerging Talent’ and the idea is to showcase the next generation of Welsh fighters.
The Welsh won’t be matched soft though. The policy of only making 50-50 fights remains and we are looking to make as many all-Welsh matches as possible. Great action is guaranteed!
More details in the next few weeks. Keep in touch on our social media pages and keep reading this column!
There has been a change to BKB 37 after Carl Hobley withdrew from his defence of his world cruiserweight title against Dan Podmore.
Dan will now defend his world heavyweight title against Richie Leak and that’s sure to be a fun fight.
Richie is as game as they come and Dan has to be one of the most exciting fighters on the planet!
If you want proof of that, sign up to BKB Fight Pass and check out Dan’s last two fights. They were back-and-forth punch ups that had everyone watching out of their seats!
The only way to watch Podmore-Leak and the rest of BKB 37 is on www.bkbworld.tv now that every ticket has been sold.
Until next week
