We saw Barrie Jones make a huge impression on American audiences before Christmas with a devastating 15-second knockout in Miami.
That was an amazing way to launch the link up between BKB™ and BYB.
There had been plenty of back-and-forth verbal exchanges across the pond ahead of the fight and BKB™ ended up emphatic winners against our American cousins.
It really couldn’t have gone any better for us and next weekend, we will see a pair of fighters from the BYB roster looking to restore some pride on BKB 24 at London’s O2 Arena.
Carlos Guerrero and Quartus Stitt arrive this weekend to prepare for their matches against Scott McHugh and Paul Hiltz respectively.
This is a huge night for BKB™.
It’s another step towards making bareknuckle boxing a global sport.
BKB™ shows are already screened in more than 40 countries around the world and BKB 24 features the two fighters from America and another from Poland, Szymon Szynkiewicz.
Szynkiewicz meet Ryan Barrett in an eliminator for the world cruiserweight championship and I’m sure lots of Polish fans will be tuning in to watch.
Over the next few years I expect us to see many more fighters from America, Poland and elsewhere around the world on our shows.
Tickets are still available for BKB 24 and if you can’t get there, the show can be watched on pay-per-view on www.fite.tv.
Until next week
