Blades worth a bet at 12/5 to cut down Forest

Sheffield United look decent value at 12/5 with Betfred and Hills to win their home FA Cup fifth round tie against Nottingham Forest today (3pm KO).

The game will see United boss Nigel Clough square off against his former club, and he is sure to have his side fully revved up for the encounter.

His side have also already taken the scalps of Fulham and Aston Villa in the competition so far, and have a good record at home.

The Blades have won six and drawn five in the league and have lost just one of their last six FA Cup games at Bramall Lane, winning four and drawing one.

They are also unbeaten in seven competitive matches on their home soil (W3, D4) and although Forest have not lost a competitive fixture since November 29 last year they have won just two of their last six FA Cup games –  losing three and drawing one.

That suggests that Sheffield may well be overpriced at the 12/5 on offer to triumph in this, and the other bet that I like is over 2.5 goals at the 23/20 on offer with bet365 and BetVictor.
