Bolton v Sunderland Preview

Sunderland travel to the Reebok to take on fellow strugglers Bolton this afternoon (3pm KO) and look value at 12/5 to bag a vital three points.

Steve Bruce’s boys have made the poorest start to a season since 2005/06 and have managed only six points from their first 8 games.

However they have only conceded one goal to Bolton in their last five league encounters and have done the double over Owen Coyle’s side in the last two season.

The Trotters have also lost their last six home games in the league and with Coyle under immense pressure to turn things round are just 4/1 for to be relegated.

This is going to a real hard fought affair, and it could simply come down to who wants it so badly.

I’ve got a feeling Sunderland will, and with the stats in their favour they have to be the call at the general 12/5 on offer.
