Breslin worth another chance under SDS

Breslin looks worth another chance at 5/1 to cash-in on what looks a handy mark in the 7.10 at Wolverhampton this evening.

Mick Channon’s charge  has only had five starts, and shaped with plenty of promise on debut at Ascot when a not knocked about sixth of 13 to Ray’s The Bar in a class 4 contest.

Breslin has since gone on to post a solid effort when staying on to finish a never nearer 5 3/4 length sixth of 13 in a decent 7f maiden at Newcastle and ran better than his final finishing position suggests on handicap debut at Windsor when sixth of nine to Cartago.

Cartago has since gone on to follow-up off a mark of 81, and the form looks strong in the context of this lower grade class 6 affair.

It suggests Breslin’s curremnt mark of 59 is exploitable, and although only 10th at Redcar last time out when heavily backed things didn’t go to plan after a sluggish start.

The market supprot that day suggests connections believe Breslin is well-treated, and with Silvestre De Sousa in the saddle he looks worth another chance to confirm previous promise.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Breslin (5/1 Boylesports – BOG)
