Canning Town cruiserweight Wadi Camacho will get his first taste of the big time when he gets his first title shot on Eddie Hearn’s Wembley bill on 9th March when he faces China Clark for the English title, this is a good match up as both guys are unbeaten.
“When Eddie said I would have an English title fight on March 9 my eyes just lit up, I was so happy,” Camacho tald DAILY SPORT “I was expecting to go through the titles starting with the Southern Area title but the English title is much bigger. Anybody who wants to go and fight for the British title has to go through the national title first so once I have the English title they will have to come and fight me for it.”
Also on the bill getting his first shot at a title is lightweight Ryan “Crash Bang” Taylor 7-0-1 he takes on Liam Shinkwin 5-0-1 for the Southern Area title.
This bill has a cracking card which Darren Barker tops against a yet to be named opponent and Lee Purdy faces Carson Jones.
