Canford Belle has been running well of late and looks worth siding with at 6/1 to gain a deserved success in the 5.50 at Wolverhampton today.
Grant Tuer’s filly has made the frame in four of her last five starts and ran really well on her penultimate outing at Newcastle when a 3/4 length second of 12 to Yasood.
She backed that up with a solid fourth of 13 to Table Manners at the same venue and her current mark of 54 is the same as when last successful.
Patrick Vaughan, who was unable to claim on her last time out and previously took 3lb off her back when runner-up at Newcastle, is also now able to claim his full 7lb in this contest.
Taking it into account, Canford Belle looks weightedf to get back to winning ways.
