Cardiff are a side capable of playing terrific football, and look worth a bet at 6/4 to win their Carling Cup tie against Leicester tonight.
Boss Malky Mackay described some of his team’s football as “magnificent” in their 1-1 draw against Blackpool at the weekend in a game which they dominated from start to finish.
The Bluebirds created numerous chances with some excellent attacking football, so it was bitterly disappointing to all involved that they did not to take all three points from the game.
However, with a bit more luck in front of goal, a similar performance would make them extremely difficult to beat in front of their home fans this evening.
Their opponents had made a poor start to the season before their 1-0 home victory over Brighton at the weekend.
That win saw them knock the Seagulls off top spot, and although a great result it may be folly to believe that they are likely to continue the momentum at the City Stadium tonight.
There is not much between the two sides on the book, but home advantage gives Cardiff the edge.
