Carson Jones too strong for Ben Hall

At Wembley Arena on Saturday night Carson Jones took the vacant WBC international silver strap after focing a stoppage from previously unbeaten Ben Hall.

Yank Jones no stranger to boxing in the UK was a step to far for the brave lad from Essex who was out gunned and out classed in the ring by the seasoned Jones.

Hall did rock Jones in the 3rd but Jones came back stroner giving Hall all t6he trouble he could handle in the 4th, Hall also hurt his right hand in the round. Hall’s corner gave their man the befeit of the doubt and after 2 more rounds gone and an injury to the left shoulder of Jones the towle came in at 1:13 of the round.

In other action, unbeaten super lightweight Ohara Davies scored a twelve round unanimous decision over Andrea Scarpa to take Scarpa’s WBC Silver title. Scores were 120-108 on all three judges cards and upset of the night saw rising light-heavyweight star Jake Ball get stopped in the 1st round by JJ McDonagh in their WBC internationl title contest.
