Chevise has plummeted in the weights and makes plenty of appeal at 10/1 to score an overdue success in the 7.40 at Kempton.
The filly won four times over 5/6f in the early part of last year, with her last win coming at this venue off a mark of 79.
She now gets into this off just 69, and although he has not been at his best this season he hinted that he could be ready to strike when an eye-catching fourth in a claimer here last time out.
Settled off the pace that day, she travelled well for much of the 6f journey before keeping on late under tender handling to be beaten just under four lengths.
It was an effort which suggested that she could be about to find her form again, and she is certainly weighted to go in again if building on it.
The four-year-old certainly loves the venue having won four of her six career successes at the track – two over tonight’s course and distance.
Another plus is that David Kenny takes another 5lb off her back, and she is simply too well treated to ignore in a race which she is more than capable of winning at her best.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Chevise (10/1 Betfred – BOG)
