Cat Royale is back down to his last winning mark and looks worth an each-way wager at 14/1 in the 6.10 at Wolverhampton today.
John Butler’s five-year-old was last successful over course and distance in July when keeping on well to score by 1 1/4 lengths off a rating of 60.
He got put up 5lb for that victiry and ran well of his revised mark of 65 when a 3 lemngth third at this venue.
Although he has failed to make the frame in five subsrquent outings, the handicapper has gradually relented and he is now able to race off 60 again – the same as when last successful.
It makes him an interesting contender on the pikc of his form, especially as the stable has had a couple of winners of late.
Cat Royale also goes well for Danny Brok who has partnered him to all three of his career success and also been placed four times on him inn 18 starts.
